By Air

Seattle – Tacoma International Airport (SEA):
Travel Distance: Approximately 25.75 km/16.0 miles.
Taxi service is readily available at Sea-Tac Airport on the third floor of the parking garage.

By Car

Rental Cars:
All rental car companies currently operating at Sea-Tac Airport have moved their customer service counters, rental vehicles and related activities to the new rental car facility. Dedicated shuttle buses operate 24 hours a day with two passenger pick-up areas located outside baggage claim at the north and south ends of the main terminal.

Upon arrival at Sea-Tac Airport

  • Proceed to the baggage claim level and pick up your checked bags.
  • Exit the sliding glass doors near carousel #1 or #15 and walk to one of the two designated shuttle bus pick-up areas.
  • Shuttle buses depart frequently for the rental car facility.
  • If you are returning a vehicle, take SR518 and follow signs for the Rental Car Facility.

By Light Rail

Link Light Rail:
The SeaTac / Airport Station is connected to the fourth floor of the airport parking garage. Trains arrive and depart on the platform level of the station. The covered, level walkway to the airport terminal is one level down on the mezzanine. The well-lit walkway is separated from the main area of the garage and directional signs point the way to the main terminal skybridge. Wheelchair service is available.

The Link Light Rail service runs from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Saturday and 6 a.m to midnight on Sundays. Trains arrive and depart every 7 1/2 to 15 minutes, depending on the time of day.

By Shuttle

Shuttle Express: Passengers are picked up at the inner drive curb on the third floor of the airport garage.

Airporter Shuttle: Service to and from the Alaska Ferry Terminal, Anacortes, Anacortes Ferry to San Juan Islands, Bellingham, Blaine, Cle Elum, Ellensburg, Ferndale, La Conner, Marysville, Mt. Vernon, Stanwood, and Yakima.

The shuttle picks up passengers in the parking lot outside of Door 00 at the south end of the Baggage Claim level. You can check in with your service at the Airporter Check-In Counter near Door 00 on the Baggage Claim level. The shuttle drops passengers off at designated bus areas on the departure level.

By Metro Transit

The King County Metro bus stops that serve Sea-Tac Airport (routes that serve Sea-Tac) are located on International Boulevard (State Highway-99) and South 176th Street by the Link Light Rail Station. The most convenient route to the stops is to take the walkway through the north end of the fourth floor of the Airport Parking Garage to the Sound Transit Link Light Rail Station and exit to International Boulevard.

Sound Transit Express Routes 560 and 574 pick up and discharge passengers from the main terminal bus stop on the lower drive.

Cabs (Yellow Cab) are available on the third floor of the parking garage. Sedans and large vans are available.

Limousine (STILA)

Stationed at the airport, STILA offers town cars, SUVs, and stretch limos and picks up passengers either at the curb outside of Baggage Claim or on the third floor of the parking garage.

To arrange for a limousine or town car, use the touch screen to access "Ground Transportation" on any of the Travelers' Information Boards in Baggage Claim (located near the escalators), use curbside phones, or go to the Ground Transportation Booth on the third floor of the parking garage.
